Man arrested while holding a machete-type-knife in Fargo

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A 26-year-old Fargo man is in custody after being confronted by cops while holding a machete-type-knife today.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A 26-year-old Fargo man is in custody after being confronted by cops while holding a machete-type-knife today.

Derrick Davon Rafe Tillman Junior was arrested shortly after one this morning. He was also holding a can of Pepper Spray. He was is being held on a misdemeanor menacing charge.

The incident happened at the 900 Block of 6th Avenue north. Police say they were called about a disturbance and the man was very distraught. He was ordered on the ground then arrested at gun-point.

He was taken to Cass County Jail.
