Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The scene on the 1st Avenue Bridge today -- looked like something out of the early 1900s.

This is part of Bonanzaville's "Pioneer Days." The group had a police escort today from the Hjemkomst Center all the way to Bonanzaville in West Fargo.

They started at 2 and arrived around 5-30. What a symbol of how far we've come -- that 3 and half hour trip now days is about a 10 minute drive.

The ceremony ended about 25 minutes ago -- and people right now are jamming out to recording artist Jeremiah James from CMT's Sweet Home Alabama.
