Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- While football is still another week from starting, high school soccer doesn't have that luxury.

The regular season begins tomorrow in North Dakota.

With a huge conference showdown between two EDC powers, Shanley and South. The Bruins are aching to get back to their dominance from a couple years ago that saw them on top of the standings and are ready to start tomorrow night.

Dean Hashbarger, South Head Coach, says, "I think we have a great opportunity to win EDC. I really believe that, I think we can match up really well with the teams in our conference. Going into state it's a one game thing, and we put the expectations out there if you go to state you mies well win."

Jacob Weiler, Sr. Midfielder, says, "We want to win EDC and we want to win the State Championship, but we still have to keep things in perspective and take it one game at a time. Really focus on each game as it's own challenge and respect each of our opponents. But we really do believe that we can take it all the way this year."

Davies also opens the year tomorrow night hosting Champlin Park.
