NDSCS in Wahpeton receives $173,000 gift

Wahpeton, ND (WDAY TV) -- A big boost to the Earl "Skip" Bute Alumni Stadium on the NDSCS campus in Wahpeton.
The estate of the late Lavonne Blikre has given the college's foundation a gift of $173,000. The money will fund improvements at the stadium used by both the college and Wahpeton high school.
Blikre and her husband, the late Dr. Clair Blikre, former NDSCS president, were longtime Wahpeton residents and college supporters.
