Minnesota (WDAY TV) -- Minnesota voters are heading to the polls today for a primary election.

And it hasn't been a big draw. So far, a very light turn out has been reported. Two Clay County Commission seats are contested, with five candidates in District 2 and 4 in district 3.

Two competitive races that will determine Minnesota congressional challengers have generated interest in the northeastern and southern parts of the state.

Lori Johnson, Clay Co. Auditor, says, "in an average primary, it's under 5 percent, you know we're hoping to go a little bit over that in those precincts where there is a commission race or the legislative race, but so far we've been hearing the turnout has been pretty low.
