Dilworth, MN (WDAY TV) -- A Dilworth man accused of stabbing an acquaintance in the back last week told police the victim fell backward onto the knife and it was an accident.
Rodrick Ponce is charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and third-degree assault in connection with the incident in Dilworth last week.
According to the complaint, officers found the victim had a stab wound to his lower back and Ponce had been helping him.
Ponce's blood-alcohol concentration tested at 0.35 percent; the victim's at 0.305 percent. Both of them at three times the legal limit to drive.
