Trial begins this weekday for a Jamestown man

(WDAY TV) -- The trial for a Jamestown man accused of killing a Somali immigrant is set to get underway this week in Stutsman County.

(WDAY TV) -- The trial for a Jamestown man accused of killing a Somali immigrant is set to get underway this week in Stutsman County.

34 year old Leron Howard will be on trial for murder and criminal conspiracy.

He plead not guilty in the April 2011 death of 18 year old Abdi Ali Ahmed --

whose body was found beaten and stabbed in a ditch near Spiritwood.

In February 22 year old Janelle Cave was convicted of manslaughter and criminal conspiracy in this case. She's required to testify as part of her sentence.

Jury selection begins on Tuesday.
