Body found in St. Croix River near Afton

AFTON, Minn. (AP) — Authorities have pulled a body from the St. Croix (kroy) River near Afton.

The Washington County sheriff's office was called about a body in the water just before noon Sunday. Deputies from Washington County and St. Croix County responded and located the body.

Authorities say the body had been in the water for a long time. Deputies were not able to identify the body.
