Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- We have new information in connection with that 4th of July boating accident that injured Fargo North Grad Nick Schmit.
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- We have new information in connection with that 4th of July boating accident that injured Fargo North Grad Nick Schmit.
The Minnesota BCA has returned results of the blood tests taken by Otter Tail County authorities at the scene of the boat crash on West McDonald.
The test indicates the driver of the boat, 19-year old Lucas Buerkley of Fargo, had a blood alcohol level of point zero nine.
The report has now been forwarded to the Otter Tail County Attorney's office for possible charges. Schmit, who suffered serious injuries from the boat prop, has been released from the hospital.
