Fargo, N.D. (WDAY TV) - The walk of fame at the Fargo Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau is getting a makeover.
More than 100 concrete blocks with celebrities signatures and foot prints will be getting cleaned off, a new coat of paint, and re-surfaced.
Most of them have been damaged by weather and have stress cracks.
President Charlie Johnson says none of the cement markers have ever been touched up.
Charley Johnson, President, F-M Convention & Visitors Bureau: “Nothing has ever been done to restore them or protect them when they were downtown or out here. I thought this would be a good time to take a look at it and we're going to try and get a few new people in here.”
Johnson says the walk of fame is a big attraction.
