Fargo-Moorhead (WDAY TV) - Neighborhoods throughout Fargo Moorhead came together tonight to grow closer as a community. Night to Unite is sponsored by the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association, Triple-A of Minnesota and local law enforcement agencies.

The goal is to help neighbors who may be strangers, get to know each other. Officials say when neighborhoods become more close-knit they also become safer.

Melissa Marek-Donahue – Charism: “When you can trust the people that live beside you feel a lot more comfortable in your home and when your friends with those people, you're not going to want to do anything that will hurt them.”

Event organizers say bounce houses and ice cream was the perfect combination to bring people out tonight.
