Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - The UND football team had better be ready to score some points in its new conference. The Big Sky is known for producing some high octane offenses from Eastern Washington to Montana.

UND believes they'll have the right combination this fall, thanks to transfer quarterback Braden Hanson, a solid running attack and some threats at the wide receiver position. It has the players excited.

Emmett Lynch – UND Senior Offensive Lineman: “We're a complete package now and I'm excited to play a game. I'm excited to throw the ball a little bit and run the ball, and not lean on one more than the other.”

RJ McGill – UND Junior Wide Receiver: “This year I feel like we can be a lot more balanced. That's the whole idea this year because we know we have to going into the Big Sky. So, I'm excited about that and I think it's going to be a big difference compared to last year's team.”

UND opens its season August 30th against South Dakota Mines.
