Cass Public Health receive perfect score in emergency readiness

FARGO, N.D. (WDAY TV) - Cass Public Health is getting remarkable feedback for its emergency readiness.

Public Health just received a perfect score on its preparation. Workers specifically prepared for an anthrax attack but the training could be used for any emergency.

The group was judged on 12 different categories, this dispensing exercise being one of them.

Doug Murphy, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator: “It does feel very good but there's a lot of effort that goes into that, a lot of teamwork, a lot of building with partners in the community.”

Public Health had to get at least a 69-percent to continue federal funding for the program.
