Moorhead Police catch burglar after he crashes his car

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- Moorhead police had an easy time recovering stolen property today -- after the alleged thief crashed his car.
35 year old Aaron Aberle is being held in the Clay County Jail facing felony burglary charges. Police say around 11 this morning -- a homeowner on south 20th street saw Aberle take items out of his apartment.
At 11:36 Aberle was in an accident in North Moorhead. Police say the investigation ended in finding several stolen items from the victim.
Aberle had just sold them to a pawn shop.
