It's been a long day for Joseph Miranowski and his wife...They live on monument Beach on Prairie Lake.

Joe: "It was looking tough but we figured we'd go have dinner at Dun Villa and we came back and about 45 minuets late we came back to this, so it came pretty fast and furious."

Now after last nights storm they're left Filling Wheel Barrel after Wheel Barrel full of branches and leaves.

Joe: There's pieces of the dock that flew off, and the paddle boat went to the neighbors and also our pontoon got moved quite a bit, we're lucky it didn't take it because it moved it about 8 to 10 inches and it's tipped, and the neighbors boat is gone, so that got tipped over in the water upside down.

One Pelican Rapids woman had to hide underneath this van after a giant tree came crashing down.

REBECCA: I got the first dog inside and then after that I had to get my other dog, but by the time I got to that dog, I heard the tree fall, so I had to duck right under the van.

Rebecca Castillo was heading back to her home when the storm hit. She and her children never knew the damage was going to be this severe.

REBECCA: I can't believe it, because you know mother nature is you never know what it's going to do, you know, last night it was so bad and all of our family was scared and this morning sunshine.

But looking at the massive tree knocked over, and the destruction it left behind.. Castillo says she'd go into the storm again to save her dogs.

REBECCA: I wasn't that scared, I was more worried about my dog, because I'm a dog lover, so I had to get my dog, I just knew I had to get my dog and get inside.

Now that the storm has passed and the damage is done, both Miranowski and Castillo are just happy they're safe, because broken branches can be picked up and docks can be fixed.

TONIGHT AT TEN, we'll look at pictures you sent in after the storm went by.
