Sturgis is filling up quickly for bike rally

Sturgis, SD (WDAY TV) -- The official start to the 72nd annual Sturgis bike rally is Monday -- but looking at the place today, you'd never know.

Sturgis, SD (WDAY TV) -- The official start to the 72nd annual Sturgis bike rally is Monday -- but looking at the place today, you'd never know.

The town and surrounding area for that matter is over ran with motorcyclist.

A lot of the bikers here say they like to come a few days before the official rally and at least try to beat the crowd.

Still there are 90 some events scheduled for today and even more tomorrow.

And plenty of sites to see in that area -- headlined by Mount Rushmore.

More than 400-thousand people will show up for the event in a typical year.
