Connections of Moorhead

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- The non-profit organization "Connections" was established in 1972, by parents of adolescence who were graduating from high school and wanted to work.

Connections matches people with a job they're interested in and good at. The non-profit has partnered with many work places throughout the years.

Currently the organization serves 175 people with disabilities, and employs 130 full and part time employees.

Trish Suedel, Connections Director of Client Services, says, "it's critical to businesses and people with disabilities, you know it's meaningful employment to people with disabilities and it's enriching to the business themselves as well."

The organization will have a 40th anniversary celebration later this year.
