Grand Forks woman sentenced 4 years for negligent homicide

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- A Grand Forks woman will sit 4 years behind bars -- for causing a fatal accident while driving drunk.

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- A Grand Forks woman will sit 4 years behind bars -- for causing a fatal accident while driving drunk.

26 year old Ebony Miles plead guilty in June to negligent homicide. It's from the February death of 63 year old Florence Umphrey of Inkster.

Police say Miles pulled in front of a vehicle Umphrey was riding in and caused a crash.

Umphrey died a week later from her injuries.
