Becker County (WDAY TV) -- Despite extra enforcement at We Fest, the Becker County Sheriff says they're still working hard to find the people behind a July 4th boating hit and run.

The crash on Big Cormorant Lake seriously injured 39-year-old Terry Erickson of West Fargo. On Monday, authorities released a sketch of the boat they believe plowed into Erickson's boat, which he was on with his wife and two young children.

Since then, about a dozen leads have come in to the sheriff's office.

Tim Gordon, Becker County Sheriff, says, "for those that were responsible for this accident: we're not gonna go away. At this point, they should probably turn themselves in. We can work through that process. But we're not going away. We're gonna continue. Every lead we get. Somebody saw something, somebody will say something."

Investigators believe the boat entered the lake at the west public access off of County Road 5, and that the suspects are two young adult males and one young adult female.
