Detroit Lakes, MN (WDAY TV) -- The 30th annual We Fest is off and running at the Soo Pass ranch in Detroit Lakes!

John Anderson, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean will all hit the stage tonight in front of thousands. All those people means more vehicle and foot traffic in the area.

Becker County Sheriff Tim Gordon says over the last 30 years, the Sheriff's office has fine-tuned its operations.

Traffic controllers keep vehicles going at a steady flow, and the office keeps a full contingent still handling complaints in the rest of the county.

Tim Gordon, Becker County Sheriff, says, "If you just exercise courtesy and patience, that goes a long ways, because a lot of the altercations we have are either verbal that escalate into a physical confrontation because people get short-fused. Today is a warm day."

Toby Keith performs Friday night, and Alabama comes out of retirement to wrap up WE Fest on Saturday night.
