Fargo Police arrest two men in prostitution sting

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Fargo Police arrested two men Tuesday in conjunction with a prostitution sting at a local hotel.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Fargo Police arrested two men Tuesday in conjunction with a prostitution sting at a local hotel. Joseph Ross Naylor, 32 and Bruce Everett Stevens, 26, both of Fargo were arrested after responding to an escort advertisement posted on the Fargo Backpage website set up by police. Hiring an Individual to Engage in Sexual Activity is a Class B Misdemeanor punishable by a maximum penalty of 30 days in jail and/or up to a $1,000 fine.

The Fargo Police have received recurring information about prostitutes operating in hotels in Fargo. There was no information about prostitutes operating at the hotel that participated in the sting, but local hotels in Fargo have taken a stance of cooperating with law enforcement in prostitution stings.
