HENNING, Minn. (WDAY TV) - An Otter Tail county man, who hood-winked an entire community for years, is headed to federal prison.

Fifty-seven year-old Frank Chester Brown has been sentenced to two and a half years for "aggravated identity theft" dating back to 1993.

He used the name Jerry Wacker when living in Henning, Minnesota where he operated a business.

He had been using the social security and passport number of someone he knew in another state.

Federal authorities hunted down Frank Brown after the victim, the real Frank Brown, tried to apply for a passport and was told about the identity theft.
