BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota Securities Commissioner Karen Tyler has ordered a Fargo-based company and its agent to stop doing securities business in the state.

Tyler says Freedom USA Investing LLC has offered to sell unregistered securities. She also says the company is not registered with her department and James Young is not a registered securities agent.

Young says the problems arose from a misunderstanding over advertising on a company website page and that the page has been removed. He says the company is honest and straightforward.
