FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A man has been sentenced to five years in prison in a federal drug conspiracy case.
Omar Hodges, also known as Tip, pleaded guilty in February to conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and employing people under age 18 in a drug operation.
Authorities say Hodges and other members of the conspiracy obtained heroin from the Minneapolis area and brought it to the Fargo area for distribution. Four other people have been indicted in the case.
U.S. District Judge Ralph Erickson sentenced Hodges to four years for the conspiracy charge and one year for the employing minors charge.
