MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — One person is dead and four others taken to a hospital after a three-alarm fire at a 112-year-old house in south Minneapolis.

Fire officials say crews were called to a 2½-story house just after 4:30 a.m. Saturday. Firefighters rescued two people from a top-floor window and found three others inside.

One person died at the scene. The other four were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. Fire officials say their conditions are unknown.

The Star Tribune reports the house was built in 1900, according to property records.
