FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A former treasurer of a Fargo roller derby team is facing a felony theft trial.
Louise Jauss is accused of stealing at least $13,000 from the Fargo-Moorhead Derby Girls. She has pleaded not guilty. Jauss faces up to five years in prison.
Jauss' trial has been scheduled to start Sept. 11.
Court records say a private audit of the team's records found about $13,000 in unauthorized transactions. Most of them were automatic teller machine withdrawals. Team members believed she took $21,000.
The Forum reports that Jauss went by the name "VooLou Child" when she was a roller derby team member.
