DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Duluth police have arrested at least two people in a search of a downtown Duluth head shop known for selling synthetic marijuana.

Officers surrounded the Last Place on Earth shortly before noon Wednesday.

The Duluth News Tribune reports it wasn't known if store owner Jim Carlson was in the building at the time.

Police at the scene declined to comment. A spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney's office in Minneapolis would only say authorities are executing search warrants in an ongoing investigation.

Last September police raided the Last Place on Earth and seized $50,000 in herbal incense. The store resumed selling synthetic marijuana, one day after the police raid.
