Minnesota woman suffers burns in camp fire accident
SCANDIA VALLEY TOWNSHIP, Minn. (AP) — Morrison County sheriff's deputies say a woman has suffered burns in a campfire accident.
SCANDIA VALLEY TOWNSHIP, Minn. (AP) — Morrison County sheriff's deputies say a woman has suffered burns in a campfire accident.
Authorities say 44-year-old Kristi Kooima Stroeh of Luverne was using camping fuel on a fire in Scandia Valley Township Tuesday evening. A gust of wind blew fuel on her and she caught fire.
She was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center by helicopter. A HCMC spokeswoman says Kooima Stroeh was in satisfactory condition Wednesday, with burns to 15 percent to 18 percent of her body.
