Madison, WI (WDAY TV) -- The Minot man accused of killing his three daughters in Wisconsin has been ordered to stand trial.

A Judge says prosecutors presented enough evidence during a preliminary hearing to try Aaron Schaffhausen on three counts of first-degree intentional homicide.

Investigators say Schaffhausen showed up July 10th at the River Falls, Wisconsin home where his ex-wife lived with his daughters, aged 11, 8 and 5.

They say a short time after the babysitter left, he called his ex wife to tell her he killed their daughters.

Fallon Moore, Schaffhausen's babysitter, says, "at the time you left the house that day were the children all present. Fallon: yes they were. Attorney: How would you describe their condition at the time you left them. Fallon: um they were very happy to see their father."

Schaffhausen is being held on a $2 million cash bond. His arraignment has been set for Aug. 28.
