BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say a man was arrested for attempted armed robbery at a downtown Bismarck loan business.
Police tell the Bismarck Tribune reports that a man wearing a ski mask walked into Money Bags on Monday afternoon brandishing a knife.
Police say the would-be robber appeared to have "lost his nerve" and walked back out of the business.
A passer-by chased the 45 year-old man, tackled him and held him until police arrived. Responding officers arrested the man, who has not been formally charged.
Police say an ambulance was called to check on the suspect, who was having trouble breathing after the chase.
