BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Bond has been set at $2,000 for a Bismarck man accused of trying to break into several homes.
The Bismarck Tribune reports 21 year-old Robert Joseph Ferguson was charged Friday with felony charges of burglary and criminal attempt.
Bismarck police say residents of a home on reported they heard banging outside the kitchen window, followed by the sound of the window shattering at 1:49 a.m. Friday. Someone also had kicked at the exterior garage door at the home.
Police say officers heard the sound of glass breaking and found Ferguson in the backyard of a nearby home. Ferguson had blood on his clothes and was missing a shoe. Officers found additional damage to a shed and a garage at the home where Ferguson was found.
Ferguson was treated at a local hospital for his injuries before being taken to the Burleigh County jail.
