Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- People at the downtown Street Fair in Fargo had more to choose from then typical fair food.
For the first time in 37 years, people were able to buy fresh, off the farm produce. The New Festival Market group set up their tents to sell their organic vegetables, jams, and herbs.
Organizers say every year, they hope to give fair goers go for a fresh food option.
Daniel Rugroden, Director of the New Festival Market, says, "we're providing the services to the consumers, providing local product, to local people, grown by local people, so that the people that are consuming it know who they're buying from."
If you missed it today, the group sells its organic goods every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the Dike.
