The no parking signs are everywhere, and rightfully so. Most businesses are still operational during the street fair. But it makes parking a challenge. All 11 public parking locations are open.
From the Civic Center Lot near city hall, to the Island Park ramp on the south side of Maine Avenue. They will most likely be full, but it never hurts to drive around as most people don't stay all day.
Still no luck? Then try heading south of Main Avenue. Parking spots line 1st Avenue South and the adjacent streets. Ultimately, you may get lucky, but be prepared to walk a few blocks if you plan on driving downtown over the next two days.
Parking services told me you still need to obey the time restrictions, but when it comes to tickets, it'll be lenient on vehicles that overstay their welcome.
