St. Cloud, MN (WDAY TV) -- A West Fargo woman and her husband were injured in a three-vehicle crash involving a wrong-way driver suffering from an unknown medical condition on I-94 near St. Cloud.
Linda Mayo and her husband Joseph Mayo of Cavalier were hit head on after John P. Fischer of St. Cloud drove his suburban through the freeway fence and headed the wrong way.
A half-ton pickup pulling an empty horse trailer swerved to avoid Fischer, causing the trailer to detach and flip onto its side.
Linda Mayo was taken to a St. Cloud Hospital and is in fair condition. Joseph Mayo and Fischer also were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
