Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- RedHawks manager Doug Simunic told me after today's game that this would be the stretch of baseball where his team could make up some ground.

Since June 18th, they've played 17 games at home and 8 games just up the road in Winnipeg. They've won 21 of those 25, including today's 12th straight victory, yeah they're dancing with the longest winning streak of the season in the American Association.

The final score of today's game, 6 to 3.

Zach Peprase/leads AA with 26 stolen bases, says, " I think it's more of an enthusiasm when you're playing the top talent of the league. You want to show that you should be up there too with them. And when you're below them you just totally want to beat them and make them leave the field with no pride.

The Hawks need two more consecutive wins to tie the franchise record of 14.

But, they play 14 of their next 17 games on the road, beginning tomorrow night in Sioux Falls.
