Class of 2012 Inducted into North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame

Jamestown, ND (WDAY TV) -- The North Dakota sports hall of fame has 3 new members tonight. And the 2012 induction class may be one of the best.
It includes Darin Erstad and Rick Helling, two guys that each spent more than a decade in the major leagues,AND legendary coach Ed Beyer, who won a state record 688 basketball games at Hiilsboro.
With the three, there's now 35 members of the Hall. Erstad was a 4 sport star at Jamestown who went on to become one of the best players in Angels history, winning a World Series. Helling was born in Lakota, graduated from Shanley and won two World Series and is one of the best pitchers in Rangers history.
