Moorhead residents receive wrong voting postcards
Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- More than 20-thousand postcards went out to Moorhead resident -- letting them know where to vote in the next election -- problem is, a few of them had the wrong information.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- More than 20-thousand postcards went out to Moorhead resident -- letting them know where to vote in the next election -- problem is, a few of them had the wrong information.
The city wanted people to know about redistricting information. It sent that information to the county, the county then sent it to the state, and the state sent out the post cards.
It's believed the mix up happened somewhere between the transition from the county to the state.
The corrected cards will be mailed out in about a week.
