Wrestlers arrive in Fargo for National Championship

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- High school wrestlers from across the nation are arriving in Fargo for the Asics-Vaughan National Championships.

    Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- High school wrestlers from across the nation are arriving in Fargo for the Asics-Vaughan National Championships.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- High school wrestlers from across the nation are arriving in Fargo for the Asics-Vaughan National Championships.

Teams represent their states at the Fargodome each year. Athletes registered today, and the action begins tomorrow with the Cadet Women's tournament.

Ahead of the 8-day event, wrestlers were busy training to make their high hopes a reality.

Clover Esquivelt with Team California says, "it's my first year wrestling. I've been wrestling for a couple months now, and I just plan to... You know, I'm section champ, state champ, freestyle state champ, and hopefully to be a national champion."
