North Dakota is offering cooling assistance

(WDAY TV) -- North Dakota is giving people a break from those high cooling costs.
It's offering energy assistance for low-income people who have medical conditions. The state's Department of Human Services put aside 57 thousand dollars from the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.
That money will cover the costs of installing and repairing air conditioning units. Also, it'll give people a chance to buy fans. People can call their county social service office to see if they qualify.
