New Developments in Scott Burris homicide investigation

Fergus Falls, MN (WDAY TV) -- New developments in the Scott Burris homicide investigation.

Ottertail County Sheriffs deputies, Fergus Falls Police, and agents with the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension executed a search warrant at a home at 1115 Oak Street North in Fergus Falls.

Police aren't releasing details on who lives in the home or why they executed the search.

Court records show a Michael Kyle Burris lived in the home as recently as February.

The body of 33 year old Scott Burris was found in the Otter Tail River near the Orwell Dam on June 15th.

He had been missing since late May. Authorities believe foul play was involved in his death.
