Sanford to invest $200M in Bismarck, western North Dakota

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Sanford Health says it will invest $200 million over the next 10 years on health care services in the Bismarck-Mandan are and throughout western North Dakota.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Sanford Health says it will invest $200 million over the next 10 years on health care services in the Bismarck-Mandan are and throughout western North Dakota.

Sanford merged with Bismarck-based Medcenter One on July 2, boosting the health system to more than 1,200 physicians and 25,000 employees in seven states. Sanford is based in Fargo, N.D., and Sioux Falls, S.D.

The expansion will include a new super clinic in Dickinson with space for additional physicians, a walk-in clinic, an ambulatory surgery center and diagnostic services.

Sanford says it will recruit more physicians, expand air transport and trauma services, provide the latest medical technology and innovations in care and expand and upgrade services and facilities.
