Valley City, ND (WDAY TV) -- A former Valley City State University football player has been found guilty of sexually assaulting an unconscious 19-year-old woman in a dorm room.
Valley City, ND (WDAY TV) -- A former Valley City State University football player has been found guilty of sexually assaulting an unconscious 19 year-old woman in a dorm room.
Twenty-two year-old Christopher Ratteray Jr. was convicted on two counts of felony sexual assault in the February, 2011 incident. Sexually explicit images of the nude victim captured by Ratteray's cell phone helped the jury reach a quick verdict.
Authorities say alcohol was a factor. The charges carry a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison.
