Cass County Judge is reassigned

(WDAY TV) -- A Cass County judge is re-assigned after sexual harassment allegations.

An 83-page report says Judge Wick Corwin was accused by a court reporter of trying to start an affair. It says Corwin kissed the woman at his home after a bicycle ride two years ago.

He told investigators he hoped to have a relationship with her at a later time, and she misunderstood his intentions. The woman has not filed a formal complaint.

The allegations came out after Corwin gave her a poor performance review.

Corwin tells us " The court administrator's report correctly concluded that I did not intend to threaten the court reporter, or make her work environment uncomfortable. I regret any misunderstanding."
