Investigation continues with 4th of July boating accident

Becker County (WDAY TV) -- The Becker County Sheriff's Office has been looking in storage sheds and back-lots near Cormorant Lake--- as Tips and leads continue to trickle in connection with that boating accident the 4th of July on Cormorant Lake.

Terry Erickson of West Fargo remains hospitalized in the Twin Cities where he is recovering from injuries suffered when a speeding boat crashed into the Erickson's family's boat.

The responsible party then left the scene in the boat and has not come forward.

Tim Gordon, Becker Co. Sheriff, says, "we spent a lot of time at the backlots and storage units that are rented and we are looking at all angles at this point."

The Becker County Sheriff's Office asks if anyone has information that would benefit the investigation to give them a call.
