Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A tragedy in Fargo is sending shockwaves through a usually quiet, quaint neighborhood. Police are investigating a possible Murder Suicide in South Fargo
Police are calling it an extremely preliminary investigation, but at this point they believe 54-year-old Daniel Williams shot and killed his wife, 51-year-old Linda Williams.
All the details are not clear at this point, but again police are currently investigating this as a murder-suicide.
Here's what we know right now.
Neither party had shown up for work for the past two days. When co-workers of Linda got worried, they called a family member to check on her.
The family member found a body inside the home shortly after 8 this morning and immediately called police.
As police searched the home, they found another body, firearms, and other pieces of evidence they will not disclose at this time.
The bodies were removed from the home around 4:30 this afternoon. Police believe both parties died of a gun shot wound.
Lt. Pat Claus says, "We still have a lot of work to do, a lot of timelines to check, we're still talking to folks and of course we still have a major component of any death investigation, the autopsy to get completed and summarized."
Police are still trying to piece together exactly what the timeline is and when that trigger was pulled.
