WATFORD CITY, N.D. (AP) — Watford City police say prostitution arrests are becoming a routine part of police work in the city.

The Bismarck Tribune reports that a New York woman was arrested last week.
Watford City Police Chief Slade Herfindahl says it was the eighth prostitution arrest in the community this year. The chief says prostitution is a growing problem in the oil patch.
Herfindahl says his department is planning a reverse operation in an attempt to arrest prostitution customers.
