Sobolik and Williams sworn in to Fargo City Commission

For the first time in 4 years a woman is seated on the Fargo City Commission. Melissa Sobolik and Mike Williams were both sworn in at city hall.
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - For the first time in 4 years a woman is seated on the Fargo City Commission. Melissa Sobolik and Mike Williams were both sworn in at city hall.
Sobolik defeated Dave Piepkorn for a seat on the commission last month.
Williams won re-election to his third term. The last time a woman was on the commission was 2008 when Linda Coates was defeated by Piepkorn.
Coates is now an elected member of the Fargo School Board.
