Van filled with boyscouts involved in accident

Becker County (WDAY TV) -- A van filled with Boy Scouts was involved in a serious accident, after police say the driver ran a stop sign and collided with a boat and trailer.

Becker County (WDAY TV) - A van filled with Boy Scouts was involved in a serious accident after police say the driver ran a stop sign and collided with a boat and trailer.

The accident happened just west of Bad Medicine Lake in Becker County. The driver of the van 47 year-old Michael Bavlsik of St. Louis, Missouri was life-flighted to Innovis in Fargo. He's currently in serious condition.

He had 11 passengers in the van, all boy scouts. None of them were injured.

Both the van and boat are totaled. The van actually flipped during the accident. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were not hurt.

This happened around 10 Saturday morning.
