Recovery centers open for Minnesota flood victims

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota officials are opening disaster recovery centers in the northern part of the state to help anyone who needs help because of last month's flooding.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota officials are opening disaster recovery centers in the northern part of the state to help anyone who needs help because of last month's flooding.

Residents and business owners can get information from the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency, the Attorney General's office, the departments of health and human services and the department of employment and economic development.

Minnesota Public Radio News reports the centers are at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center in Duluth, the Barnum High School in Barnum and the Willow River School in Willow starting Friday afternoon. They will also be open Monday.

They are being run by the state's Department of Public Safety.
