Two suspects in custody after Grand Forks bank hit by armed robber

Grand Forks, ND - Police reportedly captured two suspects in an armed robbery this morning at Bank Forward near Ralph Engelstad Arena.

The robbery occurred at about 8 a.m. at Bank Forward, 1301 Ralph Engelstad Dr.

UND Police Department is investigating the robbery, with assistance from Grand Forks Police Department.

According to a police radio report, a female suspect was captured at about 8:30 a.m., while a white male suspect was caught a short time later.

Police located a suspect vehicle, reported as a silver Dodge extended cab pickup. It was parked, unoccupied, near the UND Wellness Center, according to initial reports.

No additional information was immediately available. Police were continuing the investigation.
